Overdue Invoice Notice

I get it—life gets busy, and sometimes clients need a gentle nudge to settle up. While transitioning to Stripe (still adjusting to that 2.9375% fee; Stripe is an incredible company and they deserve it), I built a simple automated script on AWS to stay on top of late invoices.

The script checks my sales spreadsheet daily via Google Sheets API for invoices that are 31 days past due (my terms are usually Net 30). When it finds one, it sends me an email notification. From there, I draft a reminder to the client, helping to keep my cash flow healthy and predictable.

It’s a small automation to increase operational effectiveness of a small business.
